The following words are not my own, but I pretty much can easily agree with these thoughts.
“How are you?”
I think this is the stupidest question, really, and it's not even a question, but just a meaningless habit. I have no answer to your "how are you?”. Because I do not understand what exactly you are interested in. Hundreds of people a day write the same "how are you?”. I'm not going to answer your primitive "how are you?” with the same primitive "I’m fine”. So, I have a huge request to all who want to get to know me: try to start an acquaintance with someone else, please. Or "how are you?" is the only phrase that you know in english??? Is there any other questions you might know?…
The author of these statements says about herself that once we know her we will probably find out that she’s a monster.
Well, I don’t subscribe to that point of view. Maybe because I’m a monster too. Or it comes along with the poor quality of my sense of how the practice of a citizenship must be.
